Type locality: “Auf der Hochebene von Hochperu, in dem Indianer-dorfe Pichu-pichun, auf einer Höhe von 14000 Fuss gefangen”; Pichu-Pichún, 14,000 ft., Chucuito Province, Puno Department, Peru (as clarified by Myers et al. 1990: 49–50).

Vernacular names

Akodon boliviensis, also known as the Bolivian grass mouse[1] or Bolivian akodont,[2] is a species of rodent in the family Cricetidae. It is found in the Andes from southeastern Peru through Bolivia into northwestern Argentina.[3]
