Holotype: PNM unnumbered, adult ♂, skin and skull, collected by Hiroyuki Morioka, Takaharu Sakane and Roger Sison on 7 July 1977.
Type locality: “Baracatan, Mt. Talomo, Davao City Prov., Mindanao Is., Philippine Islands”.
Native distribution areas
Philippines: Biliran, Bohol, Dinagat, Leyte, Mindanao and Samar.
