Ground beetles of genus Badister (Carabidae)
Badister is a genus of ground beetle in the family Carabidae native to North Africa, the Near East and the Palearctic, including Europe.[1]
In Ireland, Badister species are mostly confined to the south and west but no further north than midland counties, although the species number matches British and exceeds the Scandinavian totals.[2]
