Microscopium ( Latin: microscope) is a small southern constellation introduced by Nicolas Louis de Lacaille. Its stars are very faint.

History

Since Microscopium was introduced in the 17th century, and lies in the southern hemisphere, it was not known to classical or early (Northern) cultures, and so they produced no mythology concerning it.
