Cyrtodactylus annandalei Bauer, 2003

Type locality: Gon Nyin Bin Camp, Alaungdaw Kathapa National Park, Monywa District, Sagaing Division, Myanmar (22°14’51.1’’N, 94°37’19.3’’E).

Holotype: CAS 215722. male ♂. 06.VII.2000. legit Thin Thin, San Lwin Oo, Hla Tun, Z.T. Aung & T.T. Soe.

Vernacular names
English: Annandale's Bow-fingered Gecko

Cyrtodactylus annandalei is a species of bent-toed gecko, a lizard in the family Gekkonidae. The species is endemic to Myanmar.

Etymology

The specific name, annandalei, is in honor of Scottish zoologist Nelson Annandale.[2]
Taxonomy

C. annandalei was discovered in 2000 in Myanmar's Alaungdaw Kathapa National Park and described in 2003. It is sympatric with Cyrtodactylus slowinskii.[3]
Habitat

The preferred natural habitat of C. annandalei is forest.[1]
Description

Small for its genus, C. annandalei may attain a snout-to-vent length (SVL) of about 5 cm (2.0 in).[3]
Reproduction

C. annandalei is oviparous.[4]
Conservation status

Since 2018, C. annandalei is listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.[1]
