Vernacular names
Quercus chenii is a species of oak native to southeast China.[2] It is in the subgenus Cerris. A tree reaching 30 m, it grows from sea level to about 600 m elevation, and can form pure stands.[3] Some authorities feel that it could be a synonym of Quercus acutissima.[4]
