Dascillidae is a family of soft-bodied plant beetles in the order Coleoptera. There are at least 15 genera and about 80 described species in Dascillidae.[1][2][3][4] Dascillidae together with Rhipiceridae form the super family Dascilloidea. [5]

Lawrence and Newton (1995) give the authorship for this family as 'Guérin Méneville, 1843 (1834)'.[2]
