Type locality: China, Sichuan, 10 km NW Miansi, 31°27'N, 103°23'E, 1300m.

Holotype: SMCR. male ♂. 4-10.IV.2007. leg. local people.

Dahira jitkae is a moth of the family Sphingidae. It is known from Sichuan in China, where it occurs at around 1,300 meters altitude.[2]

The wingspan is about 50 mm. It is very similar to Dahira niphaphylla, but with markedly different male genitalia.
