Surface phenomenon
A Surface phenomenon is a phenomenon that takes place on or near the surface of a substance. In most cases, the special properties of a surface cause these unique phenomena.[1]
There are two important surface related phenomena: Electrokinetic phenomena and Electroacoustic phenomena. They are both associated with surface structure of Double Layer (interfacial). Reflection is an example of a surface phenomenon.
