Roland Lvovich Dobrushin
Roland Lvovich Dobrushin (Russian: Роланд Львович Добрушин) (July 20, 1929, St Petersburg – November 12, 1995, Moscow) was a Russian mathematician and probability theorist who made important contributions to probability theory, point process theory, mathematical physics, and information theory. He received Ph.D. at Moscow State University where he was a student of Andrey Kolmogorov. He was a foreign member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Academia Europæa and US National Academy of Sciences.
