Coreius Jordan & Starks, 1905
Type species: Labeo cetopsis Kner, 1867
Etymology: Coreius (= Korean), presumably referring to two specimens of C. cetopsis collected at Chemulpo, Korea (also occurs in China), from The ETYFish Project.

Coreius heterodon
Coreius is a genus of cyprinid fish belonging to the subfamily Gobioninae. They are known as gudgeons. This genus is endemic to freshwater habitats in China. It currently contains four recognized species.
