Cynopterus titthaecheilus (Temminck, 1825)

Syntypes (12): RMNH, mounted skins (4), skeletons (5), skulls (3).

Type locality: “Sumatra, envoyés de Bencoulen ... Buitenzorg dans l'île de Java, ..., reçus de Siam”, restricted to “Buitenzorg [=Bogor], Java” by Miller (1903: 474) and Andersen (1912: 607).
