Hyophryne histrio is a species of frog in the Microhylidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Hyophryne. It is endemic to Brazil. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and intermittent freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
