Elachistocleis erythrogaster Kwet and Di-Bernardo, 1998

Type locality: "about one km from the entrance to the 'Centro de Pesquisas e Conservação da Natureza Pró-Mata', 29° 30´ S, 50° 10´ W, municipality São Francisco de Paula, (960 m NN), state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil".

Holotype: MCP 2450.

Elachistocleis erythrogaster is a species of frog in the Microhylidae family. It is endemic to Brazil. Its natural habitats are moist savanna, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, intermittent freshwater marshes, and pastureland. It is threatened by habitat loss.
