Xanthisma, common name sleepy-daisy,[3] is a genus of flowering plants in the sunflower family.[1][4][5][6][7][8][3]

The generic name comes from the Greek "xanthos," "yellow", and "-ismos," "condition."[3] It was first described in 1836 from material collected in "The Mexican Province of Texas."[1]
